Ah, it's just the usual mental kerfuffle that comes with writing. I know it doesn't mean anything and I mostly just ignore it ;) I just think it's funny that not only does it always pop up right smack in the middle of the story but is pretty much the same doubts I had with the last story, and the story before that, and the story before that. The thing I keep having to remind myself is that stories always seem like they suck during the writing process, and it's not until the editing process that they start to shine.
