Dr. Who and Dragons - no spoilers for either

The new doctor has finally grown on me. There was much iffiness at the start, but as is the case with most characters he simply needed time to develop. Well, at least for me :D But now the season over and I'm rather sad. Dr. who was pretty much the only show I really, really, really looked forward to. As in I couldn't miss it. As in couldn't wait for it to be DVR'd and had to watch it while it was on. Oh, well. At least there'll be reruns.

On a completely different note, Monty Python and the Holy Grail is on.

"Camelot!"
"Camelot!"
"Camelot!"
"It's only a model."

Heeeee!:D I could quote that movie all day.

Here there be dragons... again

Adopt one today! Adopt one today! Adopt one today! Adopt one today! Adopt one today!

You know what the funniest thing about that line is? They really did rent a castle, not build a model. Renting the castle was, in fact, the biggest item in the production budget, followed by the rabbit launch. After that, they couldn't afford horses, and that's how the coconuts happened.

And yes, Monty Python and the Holy Grail is surely one of the most quotable movies in existence.

"Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government!"

Yeah, you could totally tell it wasn't a model :D Thank goodness for the lack of budget that led to the coconuts. Would would Monty Python be without them ;)

"Help, help! I'm being repressed!"
