Durn them Spaceships

It's a sad, sad fact that I can imagine almost anything... except spaceships. Seriously, I try to come up with my own spaceships for a sci-fi story and my head starts to hurt. I can come up with alien worlds, weird creatures and, heck, even robots. But I can't come up with my own spaceships :P

Trying to create my own space ships for stories actually makes my brain hurt :P Thank goodness for Deviant Art, that's all I've got to say (and, no, I'm not taking other people's ship concepts. It just helps to have a visual to go by when I'm trying to figure out my own space faring vessels. Makes my head hurt less;)).

Yeah ... me too ... I sometimes wonder why my brain keeps insisting on giving me science fiction scenarios when I really am not that good at actually writing science fiction!

I see what you mean about DeviantArt having some awesome visuals for spaceship reference though.

Yes! My biggest worry about writing sci-fi is that they will become fodder for math and science-savvy nit-pickers. I love space, I love the idea of other inhabitable worlds and strange creatures, but the science aspect intimidates the crap out of me.
