I think this is the kind of movie that either hits enough buttons to make it enjoyable, or hits no buttons at all. I'm not a big fan of fluff, but there were quite a few things about this movie that I liked - Joe, of course;) and as I've mentioned several times that the kids weren't obnoxious, and that the characters were competent, and there were quite a few moments that I thought were cute. So though overall the sweetness was a bit too sweet, I still managed to really enjoy it.
