I wonder if Neal was showing up at work with scratches all over his hands and arms from the kitties? When I had really young cats, I found that to be an occupational hazard for a kitty-mommy: you play with 'em, and they aren't yet clued in to the idea that humans aren't protected by fur the way their litter-mates are. Either you don't give your fur-babies the attention and touching and play they want, or you get used to Betadine-ing your scratches and just living with 'em.

I *so* want to see a pic of Neal with the fur-babies climbing all over him... :-)
