Absolutely. He's sweet to Satchmo 'cause he's the sort of guy who's always going to be nice to animals and kids, but I bet if Peter and El had a kitty, he'd spoil it rotten and it would be infatuated with him.
The one sad thing in this story, for me: worrying about how much all the critters will miss Neal, since they all had time to "imprint" on him. I don't want to imagine Dot and the Ninja Kittens crying for him 'cause he could only keep Georgia... :-(

Oh, yeah... (Our three feline con-artists are constantly trying to convince us that the other human hasn't fed 'em yet...) I do costumed stuffed animals for some of my favorite characters, and already have a black-and-white stuffed kitty picked out to be a Caffrey-cat. (Hoping my sewing skills are up to reproducing Devore 3-piece suits in 1:12 scale...)
There's also ChinaShop's adorable story "Paws!", in which Neal gets turned into a cat... :-)
