I think that as long as Sara doesn't actually move in with Neal - which I don't think she will for various reasons (her company is still after that Raphael, for example) - then I think we'll be safe. My other fandom had two characters paired up, but for those of us who didn't want to write it, we just didn't and it worked fine. Sort of like how not every season one or two fanfic mentions Kate.
