So I Made A Thing...

Okay, so what I said on this post about forget making dolls? Apparently my muse took it as a challenge and had me make this...





My camera doesn't really do it justice.

While it isn't anything I'd put on the market, being a doll I made just for myself, I'm pretty happy with it. This is actually my second attempt at doll-making and the doll I'd been wanting to make from the start. Below is my first poseable doll that I did for practice. And it's a good thing I did a practicce doll or the doll above probably would hav ended up looking like a pinata, too.



I plan on making a third doll - a fairy cat - since I have so much fuax fur left over. Surprisingly, and despite my dislike for sewing, I find I really like making these kinds of dolls. And if I can get better at it I may make more.

Thank you! :D The sculpting is the easy part, the hard part's been the wire frame and getting the fur on. Especially getting the fur on. I need to figure out a better way to do it.
