Various levels of love for a show

I'm curious to know if I'm the only one who does this, or if it's a universal thing.

There's a lot of TV shows I watch and love, but find that the degree of love for the shows varies, and for reasons I can't explain.

The levels go as thus:

CSI: NY, Stargate: Atlantis are my "can't miss" obsession shows that I will tape if I can't watch them (we don't have Tivo) and I will also watch the reruns during the summer. They're my two main fandoms in fanfic, though CSI:NY has been rather dry for me, but mostly due to the difficulty I have with crime show related fics. For that reason, I'm rather protective of them. I mean, if people don't like them, they don't like them, but it does get on my nerves after a while when people only have negative things to say about them.

Supernatural, Numbers, and Heroes are also "can't miss" shows. However, I don't really watch the reruns during the summer (if there are any). Supernatural is kind of the exception depdning on the episode. However, despite the great writing and characterization, SPN is not the big obsession show with me as it is with others, I can't explain why (I thought it would be when it first started). But it is pretty close. I almost became annoyed with it when everyone kept using it to point out all of SGA's writing flaws. I feel it just plain wrong to compare shows.

NCIS and Lost are love 'em but no big deal if I miss them. Lost, however, doesn't allow me to do that since the story line is so continuous and complicated, although the second half of season three had me "meh" enough to miss a few episodes without batting an eye. NCIS is more out of laziness to tape it since I go somewhere on Tuesday nights, although I'll be restarting the recording of it. Though not an obsession show for me, it's one of those shows of the kind one can relax and watch without feeling frustrated or anxious over, and I miss it.

Prison Break I used to love but have since stopped watching as it's so involved and frustrating. It's still a good show, I just can't take all the stress of it.

Pushing Daisies is the only new show I've gotten into, but there's still a ways to go before I can determine where to place it.

I got Psych on DVD so have no idea where to place it. Up there with Supernatural and Numbers, I think. Definitely a can't miss show, with possible rerun watching.
