I wasn't saying "boycott her story, it's terrible!" It's not a terrible story, it just whumps in a way that I don't like (which is very rare for me as I have few squicks). I also like supposrting new writers, no matter their skill levels (unless it's so bad I can't even read past the first paragraph.) This writer isn't a bad writer, they just used a least favorite kind of whump for me. And, depending on what kind of day I'm having and the mood I'm in, it can sometimes frustrate me (obviously, I wasn't in a chipper mood while reading.)
