And, also, like I said to jennytork, even being the Shep-fan that I am, I actually love writing fic like this - the people who only knew McKay as a condescending know-it-all seeing his gentler, caring side. Then there's the added bonus of Rodney taking care of a sick or injured John. I can never write enough of that.
