But I wanna Wriiiiite!

Grr, snarl! gnash! rage! I hate my body! I hate irony! I'm overwhelmed with the desire to write, but can't because I feel like crap. Argh!

The ache in my back may not be a pulled muscle but a pinched nerve, one that has extended up into my neck and is giving me, not so much a headache, but an on-again/off-again ache that makes me nauseas and my eyes sensitive. However, because the weather has been slightly warmer than usual - and because this ache is most familiar to me - it may not be a pinched nerve but allergies. Come back, winter, come back!

Needless to say, typing makes my back hurt, and typing for too long makes me nauseas. I may force myself to write out of sheer stubborness - as usual (I once went to the mall with a migraine. That's how badly I wanted to go to the mall) -  but I'm only able to last so long before coherent words become gibberish and I'm forced to give up. So it may be a while before I have anything written and posted. Thank goodness I finished my genficathon story before the misery began.

Eegads, that sucks, but I've been there myself. Hope you get better soon as I adore your Shep fic!

Have you tried hot compresses, advil migraine, clariton?

Thanks.

I've been using a heating pad and have been taking Excedrin back and body pain medication. I'm going to try an allergy pill tomorrow. If I take an allergy pill later in the day, I'm unable to sleep. Hopefully something will pan out.

No words of wisdom from me. Just a heartfelt "I hope you feel better soon!"

Thank you. I hate feeling like this as there's no saying when it will end, and I'm never quite sure if it is allergies or because I've been sitting wrong.

I teach preschool and I can always tell when I have been sitting too much in the little kid chairs. I get a neck ache and a hip/back pain. It is no fun to feel that way. It ruins your whole day.

Not sure what to wish for you - allergy meds that work or a better sitting position. Just feel better.

Enjoying my way through Castles in the Sky. Just started Chapter 13. Wonderful as usual. Your stories just keep me enthralled. Hope you are able to write more soon. Especially since you said you want to.

Oh, gosh how I want to write! Sorry. I got an idea for a fic I'm all gung-ho to get started, and I can't. It's torture.

Ibuprofin-based products like Advil or Motrin are better for inflammation problems, so if its a pulled muscle or pinched nerve, you might switch to that. Tylenol-based product are good for pain and fever reduction, but as good for reducing inflammation.

Oh you poor thing!!

I know we can't help to make you feel better, but feel free to vent all you want. We're here for you.

I've had bones out of place in my back to where I can't sleep or even take a breath without hurting. I really know your pain. :(

Thanks. I've now determined that it was allergies (not the back ache, but the ache in my head), which I find odd. I never get a runny nose or sore throat, just an ache that makes me nauseas. It makes me dread spring.

The back-ache I'm still working on.

*Winces* Ouch.
