CSI:NY - More team love, yay!

I've come to realize it's also what I love about CSI New York (though Carmine still ranks at the top of the list on why I enjoy the show. I have no shame what so ever in admitting that ;)). Fluffy team love is just as prevalent :D Go team!

Ooh, do you have any CSI: NY fanfic recs? I love your fics, so more like that would be awesome ... long, plotty, plenty of h/c, focusing on Danny ... I haven't really delved into this fandom, I'd love a place to start if you know a few good websites. ff.net is kind of scary ...

Sadly I've fallen away from teh CSI:NY fandom, I found myself getting frustrated with the storylines that were just getting increasingly silly. NY has a fantastic cast, the best of all three shows but they so often waste their talents. I also think they lost their way a little bit with the characters and it was becoming increasingly soap opera-ish.

As a result I'm about a season behind and only dip in and out of it. I do still love the friendships between Danny, Sheldon and Flack though - they are just adorably cute and funny, such great chemistry between Carmine, Eddie and Hill.

Yeah, they do get cheesy about things, I will admit that (I get a little tired of Mac's puns after a while). But I'll also admit that I kind of like it. I'm all for drama and am a total angst junky, but I don't like shows where every episode tries to be as dark as it can be. Law and Order for example - I can't watch that show as it leaves me way too depressed. CSI:NY may want to cut back a little on the silliness, but I like that they do get silly.

And I'm really liking the characterization of this season. There's a lot more friendship among the team, a lot more joking with each other, and (crosses fingers that it'll stay this way) a lot less Danny and Lindsey drama. It's been a pretty fun season thus far, still silly, but a fun kind of silly without trying to push too much drama at the same time- IMO.
