Movie Review - Alice in Wonderland

Will it come as a surprise to say that I liked it? Nay, adored it! Which came as a surprise to me since I was rather "meh" about seeing it.

not to get annoyed by female leads. And I so want a Cheshire Cat! I've always loved the Cheshire cat and now love him even more :D

The only down side was that it was hard to understand what they were saying at times. I chalk it up to all the strange words that were involved. If you don't know Alice in Wonderland at all, then some of the dialog might be a little tricky to understand.

And I saw previews for Tron! I so can't wait for Tron. I loved the first Tron since I was four and used to watch it all the time.

I am really looking forward to seeing this.
I agree about it probably being somewhat easier to understand if
one has read the book.
Johnny Depp said his kids came to the set and at first were
put off by the Hatter until they realized it was their father......
I just cracked up and as usual he told the story in very matter of fact
terms.....
I was NOT surprised when I heard he was to be the Mad Hatter as it has
always been my opinion that Depp never met outrageous makeup that he didn't like and the Mad Hatter kind of sums it up brilliantly

Finally, I LOVE that cat..........in ads when it says 'oh oh'

Depp did an awesome job as the Hatter. I was a little iffy at first, but he pulled it off wonderfully. And I couldn't get enough of the Cheshire Cat.

I wasn't surprised he was the Hatter because this is a Tim Burton film, and Depp is his go-to actor for the majority of his films.

Yes and Burton always offer the best makeup options too

That song from Corpse Bride still bounces around in my head from time to time.
and I could not believe how much the animation looks like Depp.......amazing.
