So, After much whining over my art skills...

I set aside the whining and drew this little ditty...

Which actually turned out how I pictured it a lot more than most of my pictures. I'm quite happy with it (though the wings I'm not sure about). I seem to be going through some kind of "dark" phase, since everything I want to draw seems to lean toward being creepy. I just finished drawing my own rendition of a horsefly which I can't post since it's for a contest, but it disturbed even me :/ (I'm not bragging, it really did.)

This has also been posted on Deviant.art but I'm pretty much getting no love over there except for the occasional fave. Which actually doesn't bother me as I've come across art that's blow-you-out-of-the-water good with not a single comment to show for it. Still, it can be a tad frustrating at times.

I like it very much. The color.........the wings are so graceful
Thank you for sharing it......

That is quite the creepiest unicorn/pegasus hybrid I've ever seen (and, since I collect unicorns, I've seen plenty). It's very well proportioned and eerily graceful. I'm impressed that you managed a skeletal effect for the tail and I love the misty effect around its feet.

Oh, very cool & creepy, and I like the slightly-antiquey feel to it.

*jaw drops*

Wow! You CAN draw! See what you can do when you put your mind to it?

And you think you can't draw? Seriously? No, seriously??

That is really pretty freakin' amazing. And from what I hear, horses (or horse-like creatures) are among the hardest things to draw.

Ooooh. That is beautiful and dark at the same time. Sort of creepy and sad. Great atmosphere to the whole look of the animal.

I love the sepia effect. It does make it ancient.

I like this. It has a macabre charming quality. A delicacy that makes this fantasy creature look harmless when feeding and imposing if threatened.

Also, I can see what you mean about the wings. Maybe a transition area between the ribs and the placement of the wings? But then, I can't draw except stick figures.

Anyway, this is beautiful.
