I am so flippin' relieved. My biggest worry was getting close to the end and losing motivation once again.

What's funny is that I got the motivation back when Joe's character on Fringe got whacked. I guess it made me so sad to see him do a death scene (just after writing him nearly dying in another SGA fic) that I just had to write something with a lot more Sheppard in it.

Maybe having new stories to read will help kick your motivation into gear. I know it helps me (thorugh with this fic, as I said, it took seeing Joe do a death scene to finally motivate me :/)

I think this may be my last SGA chapter fic, though. Not a certainty but writing this was way more work than it should have been.

*Sigh* Sadly I didn't. I ended up drifting away from the fandom, so only got the story part-way edited and then... abandoned it *hides in shame*

However, I've been thinking about it, lately, and think I may hand it over to someone still strong in the fandom to beta, then just post it. Because I worked hard on it and hate that I promised it and didn't deliver.

Thanks for the quick response. I think there are still quite a few people who enjoy reading SGA. I know that I certainly do.
It would be a shame to let a story of yours languish unread. I suspect you might be pleasantly surprised at the response if you did finish it.
