Best season finales ever! Do not look under the cut if you don't want to be spoiled. Keep in mind the shows mentioned are the shows I watch, not every show that's on.

CSI:NY - Danny whump, Danny whump, major Danny whump! Aw, man, that was awesome. Poor woobies Danny and Adam, Danny with a broken hand and possible broken ribs. I just wanted to hug him so! Although I wasn't too thrilled about the show's start (Danny sleeping with Lindsey. They're a cute couple but I hate sex-scenes and I'm not a big-Lindsey fan or DL shipper, so ugh!) But the rest of the episode was pure action/wumpy poetry that sent my heart a-flutter. I love CSI:NY, they make me so happy.

Supernatural - Kick-butt action all the way. Dean selling his soul to save Sam and their dad coming back to save them. Beautiful, just beautiful. My sister and I were on the edge of our seats the whole time.

Stargate:Atlantis - Okay, I'm a spoiler junky so knew what was going to happen, but it didn't lessen the impact of the episode for me. Nothing compares to actually seeing the episode, and that one was fuuuuuuun. Working with the wraith, betrayal, space battles... I'm just glad I know what happens next season or that cliff-hanger ending would be killing me. I know there's been some negativity toward season three, but I'm still looking forward to it, along with the spoilers for season four.

Now all that's left is Numbers, Heroes and Lost, and I'm already betting on stellar season finales (although Lost is questionable depending on whether or not Charlie lives. Charlie!) Will Hiro be able to kill Syler, or will Syler kill Ando? Will Claire have to shoot Peter? Will Peter's brother give into the dark side? Both shows have been building up awesomely, even after that stupid hiatus that almost lost the shows.

And I honest to goodness hope the networks learned their lesson about putting a show on a several-month hiatus. That was the dumbest thing they had ever done, especially since not all networks did this. Putting a show on hiatus gives people a chance to get into other shows, thus losing half the audience. Plus when the shows came back they were so barely advertised it wasn't even realized by many that the show had returned (Jericho is a prime example of this.)

I look forward to next season (even Prison Break which kind of lost me in season two). Although I don't look forward to any new shows that might be coming out. I'm not as into TV as I used to be and I don't want to get involved in any more shows (thank goodness we don't have cable.) But the shows I do watch I can't wait for their return.
