So you know how they have those tours where you ride around in a bus going to differnt huanted sites? I've decided to do something similar on my author blog. I want to do a Haunted Blog tour.
If you have a published book, or plan to be published, or you just have a blog or website where you post free stories, and you happen to have a scary story posted on your blog or website, send me the link along with a one or two sentence synopsis and I'll post in on my author's blog. If you don't have a scary story, feel free to write one. The tour isn't going to start until the week before Oct. 24. Why, you ask? The Independant Author's group I'm part of is going to have a free book giveaway on Saturday and only Saturday (more info on that to come). So I wanted to do the tour then so that those taking part can gain a little more exposure for their blogs.
There are conditions. Since my blog is geared toward both adults and young adults, the stories need to stay at least PG-13, so please nothing that contains anything sexually explicit or that's a violence/gore fest. Also, the story needs to be free, so it can't be anything the readers would have to purchase.
I'm not particular about word count, just as long as the story is above one hundred words and shorter than a novel. All genres are welcome, and you can even have the story take place in the world of any published novel you have, so long as the story can stand alone.
Also, if you want to do a Haunted Blog tour of your own, please feel free :D You can even set your own rules, since the above rules are mostly for my blog.
