a_pilgrim_soul who pointed me in the right direction, I have redone my journal with a header - finally. I've been wanting to do this forever but could never figure out how to do it. If you visited my journal throughout the day, then you probably noticed all the trial and error that was going on. But I finally have it the way I want and am content... for now. I may change the journal style sometime in the future. But for now, I'm tired and leaving it alone.
Also, I made it so that entries should be easier to read.

But that's just for putting up a header. It's actually pretty easy. The hard part is navigating through all the directions on how to do it :P It's all in the FAQs but it requires a bit of jumping around from one Faq to the next. The above link helped me the most, though.
The gist of it is: go to "customize journal style" in "journal". Click on "style" and scroll to the bottom. That's where you upload a background image. The above link tells how you make it into a header, which layouts allow for headers and how to adjust those layouts that don't.
As for doing a massive journal overhaul, that's where coding skills come in, of which I have none :(. But headers are easy enough.
If you don't have one, you'll probably need a Photobucket account. You can only upload URLs, and Photobucket provides a URL address for the image (not to say Photobucket is the only one, just the one I used.)
