I've been trying to find a fic that I read over a year ago. Maybe you'll (or anyone else?) remember it due to the type of Shep whump. Atlantis must go through a reboot, requiring it to be submerged and everyone evacuated off because the process will take weeks and there will be no life support. Sheppard gets trapped in Atlantis just before the reboot initiates and has to spend the next several weeks trying to survive on meager rations and in freezing temperatures. He loses weight, grows a beard, but survives...Rodney actually figures out a way to get into Atlantis close to the end of the process and is shocked by Sheppard's appearance, etc. Ring a bell? - Diane
