Iz Still Alive

Just a quick flyby post. Currently in Utah at my sister's house. Yesterday, survived hiking up to Timpanogas caves (and am now paying the price... ow). Saturday went to see the A Team. A Team! Love, love, love! Loooooooove! Today, went to the park to visit with extended family.

We plan on heading back home Thursday, which means we'll arrive home on Friday. Be forewarned, there will be a picture post for anyone interested to see what I've seen (of which there are trees, lots and lots of trees. And a cave.).

As anxious as I am to get home, I think I'll also be kind of sad. It was really nice being able to break free of my rut and go adventuring, something I haven't done in so long I've forgotten what it was like. Now I'm worried about going home and getting right back into that rut, the same rut that I now realize has stifled my desire to write. I haven't gotten much writing done, but, boy, have I been plotting. Stories that have been giving me trouble are now coming together and I would hate to lose that momentum.

And apologies for the touch of woe-be-goneness but the wake up call is still going on strong. There will be changes once I get home. There must be changes. *shakes fist in resolution*
