Stinkin Muses!
Aug. 20th, 2010 05:33 pmI'm such a sponge :P. All this watching of Soul Eater and Bleach and my sister telling me about various animes and mangas has planted a seed of creativity in me, one I have no idea what to do with. I'm coming up with these ideas that would probably make excellent mangas but, well, I'm not exactly a manga artist (which is such an understatement it's ridiculous). Can I write them as books? Probably, but would it do as well? Would it be the same? Probably not. What I keep coming up with is image heavy, and not the kind of stuff that would be easy to describe without annoying the reader.
I need to make friends with kick-butt artists. I've come up with a ton of ideas that would be great as illustrated books or comic books, but I don't have the art skills to make them happen. One of my dreams is to team up with an artist and make at least one of these ideas a reality.
Edit: Okay, forget the last question as it was a tad confusing. What I should ask is if there are any comic books/mangas that have been made into written books (Ex. the manga Trinity Blood, I believe, has a written book series). I know there are books that have been made into comics, but I'm looking for the reverse. And did they work? Because if I can't draw an idea - which I darn well know I can't - I can at least write it.
