Book Overload!
Feb. 22nd, 2011 08:47 pmWell I think I'm good for reading for the next couple of months. We went to Borders' going out of business sale, in which I got greedy and over-shopped a little. I know I probably should have felt guilty but... I don't :D Well, not yet. Should some of the books I bought suck, then we'll talk splurge guilt.
Finally got Butcher's Side Jobs. More Dresden, yay!
I'm into this knew Manga called Chi's Sweet Home, which if you're nuts about cats and most especially kittens is utter goo-inducing adorableness. I hadn't planned on getting it, but it's just so dang cute! You need cute in your life, I think. When things feel icky, it's nice to have something warm and fluffy to turn to, literally and figuratively.
On the doggy front, our big dog Jewel who'd stopped eating seems to have gotten her appetite back. She still can't get up without help, but I'm wondering if that's because of whatever had caused her to lose her appetite. In other words, the more she eats, the stronger she gets, the less help she needs getting up.
But... still too soon to get our hopes up.
