Oh, Roxy

One of these days I have got to get my cat Roxy on video. She is such a contradiction - incredibly affectionate but refuses to sit in your lap and hates being picked up. She loves to be pet, but every so often as you pet her she will hiss at you, only to demand more petting. I have no idea why she does that since she isn't aggressive about it. She just likes to hiss while you pet her.

What's really funny, though, is that she'll get so attention hungry that she starts rubbing up against the monitor or rolls around on the desk shoving the keyboard out of the way. Then I tell her to stop it and what does she do? Hisses at me and keeps doing it. Either that or leaves in a huff, comes back, then keeps doing it. She's such a diva.
