Heh, I wanted to do an update post, then checked out my f'list and saw that I'm not the only one ;)
Started my Sheppard H/C story and, thankfully, so far, I'm happy with what I have written. Usually if a story fights me on the beginning then it's a story that I need to replot. But I'm 2000+ words in and know exactly where the story is going, so it should be easy to write. Chances are good it will also be a doozy. Not chapter-fic doozy but pretty long. There's a lot going on and a lot that needs to happen.
should I get the fic done by October, along with outline my original story idea, I think I may take part in NaNo. I feel really strongly that taking part may end up being a good thing, and my efforts to get ready for it have been paying off (got a lot of notes on the oirignal idea. I just need character names and the outline... and a title :P). But will see. Even if I end up not taking part I still plan on writing the original story.
