...and this is NOT to diminish Green Berets in any way. They are the best and baddest military organization in the world. Only a fraction of Navy Seals who try out get chosen for Green Beret training. But I figure that Ronon might have taught Sheppard enough Satedan survival skills and tricks, on top of Sheppard's own special forces training and his experience fighting and evading Wraith, that his tactics would catch our military, even our best, off guard. He might not be able to physically overpower a large Seal turned Green Beret, but he could outwit one. He's Sheppard! :D
The "how" of Sheppard getting involved in "games" with Green Berets is another question. Maybe he went as an observer or adviser and got either good-naturely tricked into participating or he was outright chosen. I don't know. But it would be an awesome read if anyone can make something of it. Thanks -Diane
