Yeah, it was super fluffy and at times it did make me squirm just a bit, especially knowing that the other shoe would eventually drop (i.e. the kids getting into some sort of trouble, finding out that they were going to end up with another family and reacting badly, etc).
Although, for me, I found the fluff a lot more tolerable than other fluffy family movies I've seen. I'm not sure why. I guess because between fluff and drama, when it comes to made-for-tv family movies I lean more toward the fluff. The drama is usually where you end up with the self-centered kids, dumb parents and a lot of cringe-worthy moments. This movie did rely on a lot of cliche tropes (kids thinking the foster parents don't want them), but rather toned down IMO, making it easier to enjoy.
