That's right, another rec list, only this one not show specific. This one is to help me gather stories from fandoms where good gen stories are hard to find, so don't expect long lists. As always, recs would be much appreciated. This list isn't just for me, after all ;)

As usual some guidelines.

1. The story needs to be well written. Not necessarily perfect, but the fewer spelling and grammatical errors the better.

2. The story needs to be realistic. Again, not perfect but not so over-the-top everyone seems OOC or you're wondering why the author didn't warn for it being crack!fic.

3. Stories need to be complete. I don't care how good that WIP is, stuff happens and you can't always trust a story to be completed.

4. Because this is a personal list, not every story rec'd to me will be my cup of tea, therefore may not end up on the list. Please do not feel offended as it's a matter of personal taste and should not be interpreted as quality control or a reflection of the author's skills.

5. Gen only stories (though mention of canon pairings are okay as long as they are not the focus of the story. Het, slash, OT3, pre-het, pre-slash or slashy subtext I don't want).

-------------------------

Suits

Take Two and Call me in the Morning by Jumpfall - Mike gets a migraine. Harvey gets a clue.

Haven

Beneath the Sandglass by Artemis Rayne - What looked like a simple suicide takes a turn for the worst when a disturbing pattern crops up across Haven, pitting Audrey and Nathan against the Troubles once more. When it infects one of their own, can they solve the case before their time runs out? (There is some het subtext but nothing that goes anywhere and nothing explicit).

A Team

Movie:

Perfectly Rational Adjustment by Zinnith - Murdock might be the one who's certifiably insane, but Face is probably more than a little nuts himself and maybe that's the biggest reason for why this friendship works when it shouldn't.

101 Ways to Drown by Frontyardgnome - AKA How H.M. Murdock Learned to Swim: Murdock became a pilot for one good reason - he hates water! Naturally, when Hannibal finds out, he makes it his mission to teach the pilot this 'crucial skill', whether Murdock is willing or not. (I dithered a little on this one as I'm suspicious that it may or may not have very vague slashy undertones, plus I'm not a fan of stories where the male characters are a little too touchy/feely than they probably really are. But the story was cute enough for me to overlook all this).

Percy by Frontyardgnome - BA hates puppets, Murdock seems to grow them like trees. The million dollar question is why the fool can't leave off with the damn things.

Show:

Three Times colonel Decker Interrogated Murdock (and the one time he Didn't) by Beautifulside - Just what it says on the tin. Colonel Decker attempts to interrogate Murdock about the A-Team (he doesn't get very far).

The Sound of Thunder by Range Ryder - Summary: missing scene for ep. Sound of Thunder, How the guys got out of Vietnam, where they went to get Murdock treated for his wound, how they managed to not get accused of kidnapping and killing General Fulbright, etc.
