Writing Thoughtcrimes fiction is almost like writing original fiction, so... ;)
Really, I can sympathize. I got into writing fanfiction as a method of getting my butt into gear when I stalled out on the original fiction I was writing at the time. Alas, I find fanfiction so much more fun that I've pretty much wandered away from original fiction.
