D'aaaawwww!<3<3<3

My mom told us this story about our great grandparents...

In their final days, my great grandmother and great grandfather were confined to their beds. My great grandmother was the first to pass on. After her funeral, my great grandfather asked if his wife had been taken care of. He was told yes, she was. Five days later, he was able to pass on, knowing that his sweetheart was taken care of.

They have "Sweethearts Forever" on their tombstone, as do my grandparents.

Reminds me of my sisters in-laws. They were in an auto accident. Joanie died at the scene, but Hal held on although he was in bad shape and unlikely to survive. Every time he woke up he'd ask for Joanie and their sons would say she was fine. Finally after almost 2 weeks the boys told Hal that Joanie had passed. His last words were "I've been missing her" and he passed away in less than an hour.

They'd been together since they were sophomores in high school. The urn with her ashes was placed in his coffin and their headstone says "Together Always." *wibbles*

Makes me very envious that I've never found someone to love like that.
