My mom told us this story about our great grandparents...
In their final days, my great grandmother and great grandfather were confined to their beds. My great grandmother was the first to pass on. After her funeral, my great grandfather asked if his wife had been taken care of. He was told yes, she was. Five days later, he was able to pass on, knowing that his sweetheart was taken care of.
They have "Sweethearts Forever" on their tombstone, as do my grandparents.

Makes me very envious that I've never found someone to love like that.
