I love how you've written Rodney and Sam! Yes, I was hoping for some such moment on the show, but you've done it better than I imagine they could. There are even details whose significance Sam doesn't know (the turtles), but we do. He's still bossy old Rodney who has her make the bed and criticizes everyone, but he has learned about love and friendship.
And thanks for seeing the good in Katie. I like her, but apparently I'm in the minority.
