I finally have a title for my next SGA adventure/team/Shep-whump fic - Genesis Rift. An entire planet goes missing, including Sheppard. In the search for answers, the team plus Lorne stumble on the planet's dark secret, and Sheppard is forced to face his worst nightmare. I consider this a kind of sequel to Hound of Hell you Cry, but not the kind of sequel where you have to read the previous story first.
The story has been outlined, but when I'll get down to writing it, I can't say. There are still a few things that need tweaking and I'm currently knee-deep in my original fic and totally enjoying it. I'll either start it when I'm finished with the original fic, or half-way finished with the original by writing a chapter of the SGA fic every Saturday (I'm leaning more and more toward the latter, impatient person that I am. It also worked with my last fic that is still in the process of being edited.)
The original story is making me all kinds of happy :D. It was a little dicey at first as it usually is with me and the first few chapters of a story, but now I'm really getting a feel for the plot and characters and it's making the writing process a lot more smooth. I've completed two chapters this week and have started on the next, where as before I was lucky if I managed to finish a chapter a week.
It's not an easy story to write, though, let me tell you. It's urban fantasy and a mystery, which means having to tread carefully and fight the urge to go back and clean everything up before the story is even finished, and there's already a ton that I'm painfully aware of that needs correcting (usually I'm not aware of mistakes and plot holes until I start the editing process). Still, I really like what I have so far.

Good luck with writing your new story! I look forward to it!
