Whoa! Loved the new chapter! It was really good to see Sheppard back in action- well, back in action for at least a little bit. ;o) Poor Shep, it must be so hard for a proud man like him to feel so weak and betrayed by his own body.

I especially loved the scene where Shep was suspended from the tree branch and was freaking out with the team all worried and terrified. And also that moment between John and Teyla as she's cleaning his wounds- that was so nice.

You weren't kidding when you said this chapter was dark! But I liked it! A lot! You did a great job describing the rotting corpses in Sheppard's nightmares and in the Sykvyar's (sp?) abandoned camp. Very vivid descriptions.

The end was awesome! I really liked how Shep was able to prevent those- those creatures from taking Corla. I hope it'll have given him at least a teeny bit of confidence back.

Oh! And I loved how Shep went to protect Teyla, even with him being weak and terrified.

Looking forward to the next chappie!

Hey, decided I just had to leave a review for this. This is exactly what I'm talking about regards the whump that I like. I loved that Shep fought and did everything he could to escape, his freak out was great and Teyla taking care and talking to Shep moments were awesome, hitting that 'aaaw' just right! Great friendship moments that I love. :D I really love this chap!
