*Crawls up from the muck and mire of moving and waiting a whole week for the Internet to come back*. At last! Took long enough, and I kind of predicted this would happen. There's always a complication or two when it comes to us moving (one time, it took several days for our furniture to arrive.) Getting the internet back was a practical step-by-step, day by day process that ended up taking longer than anticipated.
But that's finally over and done with, and we're now in our new house, getting things organized and clearing away the last of the junk from our old house. We now have cable, which means I can watch the final episodes of SGA and not have to rely on spoilers, yay! Other than that, though, it's so far been nothing more than a hundred channels and nothing to watch :P. Although it has reminded me why I dislike rated R movies... yeck! Even this whumper has her gore limits.
But with the internet back, that means lots of reading to catch up on, which will hopefully distract me from my own curiosity over movies that will only sicken me because my timing when it comes to flipping channels at the right moments sucks.
Oi, rambling, so tired. One more day, one more day of lifting heavy crap, then we're done. I so can't wait.

Oh, just a warning. Both "Vegas" and "Enemy at the Gate" leaked to the net while you were offline, so if you want to avoid spoilers, be careful out there! ;)

Date: 2008-12-31 02:44 am (UTC)From:I'm not too concerned about being spoiled. I know it tends to ruin cool twists and surprises, but I like being prepared. I hate it when an episode summary sets my hopes high only to cause a major fall when the episode actually airs.

You have to watch Vegas on your TV and you'll ruin your enjoment of it, if you read about he spoliers ahead of time. I've seen Vegas..but I would have hated to be spoiled before watching it.
