Whumping Fun

This is just a little something I'd like to try, and feel free to play along, especially if you're tapped out of ideas.

The first five people to comment: give me an SGA episode with the potential for creating some off-screen whump. Not episodes that need whump, but episodes that would allow me to write a short, whumpy tag. For example: Defiant One gave John cracked ribs. Irresistable gave John a cold. You can even suggest types of whump you'd like to see for that episode. Using the same examples: cracked ribs leading to a punctured lung, the cold becoming pneumonia, or something else all together.

Only one episode per person who comments, and no two people requesting the same episode but with different whump prompts. If you are not one of the first five, please do not give me a prompt. Should this work out, Then I'll repost this post and you can try then.

Should a prompt not work out (i.e. it keeps trying to turn into a 10,000+ word story) then I will let you know so we can try a different prompt. I would really like these to be as short as possible; something I could whip up fast each weekend.

The Defiant One. Seems to me Shep took quite a few hits ie: bullet to the arm, running into the shield, knocked over by the wraith that a lot of potential exists for whump galore. He was out there quite a while before McKay left to join him. Oh, and I forgot about the snow he found. Chilly! Warm that man up!

How about Infection. They crashed, they almost drowned, they were unconscious and they were apparently out of it for quite sometime. He was scratched by hungry Wraith and tackled. Also Shep sat in that chair across from Woolsey very gingerly.

*Winces* Sorry. I had thought about making this a free for all, but I really do need to put a limit on things. Every time I ask for prompts, I end up getting overwhelmed and not writing anything at all.

But should this turn out well (i.e. I don't get overwhelmed) then I'll try it again next month. :)
