So bored I ended up breeding my dragons, but only kept one egg.
I have the desire to work on my original story, but not the desire to write, if that makes sense :/ I blame it on lethargy. By the time I worked up the motivation to tackle the story, I lacked the energy needed for the actual writing process. I really need to get to bed earlier.
So, anyone read any good SGA Gen fic, lately? Specifically stories not posted in Sheppard HC, Sheps Atlantis, or FF.net, as I've read all that they have to offer ;)
Maybe it's high time I fixed my Elfwood account.

Date: 2009-02-18 05:51 am (UTC)From:So I've been reading older fics from the SG Awards archives. And Psych fic. Okay, anything that has angst in the category. My monthly budget was even more engrossing than writing an ending!
Ugh, indeed!

Date: 2009-02-18 06:18 am (UTC)From:I've been rereading a lot of stories. The problem is, I've read them so many times I've practically got them memorized. Plus I've reached a point in my fanfiction experience where any kind of whump will no longer do - I want something specific (for example, I'm currently in the mood for a particular type of comfort). But most of the time what I specifically want can't be found. Or can be found but is written in a way that doesn't quite work for me, if that makes sense.

Date: 2009-02-18 06:27 am (UTC)From:I used to read Supernatural, but the influx of fic was so constant and so much it was hard to keep up with. Plus I kept losing all the stories I was trying to read, so finally just gave up.

she likes to write a lot of gen stories in SGA. one has a pretty funny McKay line..."It's the Alteran tax assessors' records for the city of Atlantis!"
