Another chapter of [livejournal.com profile] coolbreeze's intriguing story, full of much intrigue ;)

Another chapter of [livejournal.com profile] rhymer23's whumpy story, full of much Shep whump... and intrigue.

The roofers are finally fixing our roof. It should be done tomorrow.

Warm weather :D

Chicken quesodillas with guacomole dipping sauce and tomales for dinner :d. Have I said how much I love MExican food?

Still plenty of Dresden Files to read. In my mind, Joe F stars as Harry Dresden, not the guy from the TV series... er, no offense to those who watched the series. I'd never seen it myself *shrugs*. I like using Joe for, uh *points to icon* obvious reasons ;)
Not at all unusual when it comes to the Flan.....I often
envision him in my mind when I read a book etc.
He fits so much of what I read.....I mean other than ff...
>:-)
I love it when I can use an actual favorite actor for a character in a book I'm reading. It makes the book both easier and fun to read. It's why I use actors for my characters, in order to get an easier handle on their looks. Plus they have particular quirks that I think help make the character more 3-D ;)

Oh, he would make a sexy, Dresden. I did watch the series and don't get me wrong he was plenty good looking but Joe...... *happy sigh* Must pull out the books again!

And you are so going to have to tell me what these stories from Coolbreeze and Rhymer are!

*HUGS*

I know it's just in my head but he fits the part incredibly well. I find it totally easy to imagine him as Harry, wehre as with other books I've always had trouble getting a good image-handle on the characters.

*Points to Sharpes_Hussy's reply below* Right there :D

I was not familiar with Dresden Files till I took a
look at Amazon and this sounds terrific for JF:
"..........hardboiled anti-hero, with a twist..."
Looks like I need to check it out at the library.

You must read and you must imagine Joe as Harry. It is absolutely yum :) Joe would make an awesome wizard. I think he should totally do something like that instead of going for sci-fi. Although right now I'd be happy in whatever he was in... as long as it wasn't a doctor or lawyer show. I have no love for those two premises :P.

I LOVED the show Dresden Files and I love the books as well. And though I loved the show the way it was, I could definitely see Joe in that part as well!!! He's who I imagine when writing original fic too. That makes it way more fun.

And I love Mexican food too. We have a restaurant that has their chicken enchilada dinner for $4.95 on Wednesdays. I eat there on Wednesday a lot. I'm not sure I could eat at McDonald's for that.

I've never seen the show !) because we didn't have sci-fi when it was on and 2) I didn't want it tainting my view of the Dresden Files. though I may one day give it a look, just out of curiosity.

Mexican food is the best :D. We now live near a Carlos O' Kelleys. I didn't think I would like their food but they had really great enchiladas and excellent salsa. When we lived in Texas, there was this one restaraunt we went to that had huge chimichangas that not even my brother (who can eat a ton) could finish. They were awesome.
