What with writing becoming a major ordeal for some and Big Bang coming up in November, I would just like to encourage all you readers out there that when you read a fic you liked, let the writer know - leave a review. It doesn't have to be fancy, it doesn't have to be poignant and full of brilliant insights. It just has to let a writer know that their story was read and enjoyed. Even a "I really enjoyed this" can do a lot for a writer's motivation.
If you're the kind of reader who prints up stories and so, due to RL issues, tend to forget to leave reviews, I suggest writing the review somewhere on the printed copy so that when you do remember, you have it all ready to type up.
If you're shy about leaving reviews, or if you find yourself suddenly short on time, a "I really liked this" or "I really enjoyed this" will suffice.
Don't assume that some writers (such as new writers) need more support than other writers. All writers need that kind of support, especially if you want to see more stories from them ;) Reviews = motivation, because reviews make us happy, and when happy, we write more :D
