It was a mistake to give our pigmy rabbit a shoe-box bed. We should have stuck with the basket. She has now tipped the bed over, then upside-down, then tossed it around, pulled it apart and I have no doubts she'll have it chewed to pieces by morning. She keeps jumping inside it, then outside, then over it. Now she's back inside nibbling on the rim.

She is such a little kid :D

Aw, that sounds like what my birds would do with a box. Kids animals do the cutest things.

I hope she's not making too much of a mess. :)

*Snort* She has totally trashed the area around her cage. Bunny -1, box and bedding - 0

She sounds like she's have a ton of bunny fun playing with the box. Our bunnies love to remodel boxes. Sometimes we put a smaller box inside a large one and let them play in the "condo." We put an old telephone book in once and one of our bunns spent hours shredding in there every day. Playing in the recycling blue box is also a big hit.

Our rabbit had a blast with the box :D She was in dire need of it. Every time we take her out to hold her, she'll dig at our shirts then try to chew on them.

While I realize a wabbit would be easier to obtain, a
siorfa sounds a bit more exotic.......
:P

My horses sound much easier to look after. Of course they live at somebody else's house and I don't have one right now :D

Our rabbit is easy as pie to take care of. Food, water, the occasional petting and holding, and keeping her away from shoe-boxes ;)

My sister has horses that live at someone else's house as well. We have land, but it gets so muddy that we can't always get to it, so had to move the horses to a neighbor's land.
