Writing Front... Or Lack thereof

It has been utterly, utterly boring on the writing front. Because RL has been the most overwhelming it has ever been. I won't go into details since it's not something I want to talk about, except to say that we've had a lot of family visiting, still have family visiting, and writing anything just isn't a possibility if I wish to stay sane :P Even edits on the original fic have been reduced to a crawl.

It's starting to drive me up the wall, though. I really want to write, have a ton ideas and things I need to write, but am reluctant since it's still a little busy around here. Ugh, I need and office! Some little room I can lock myself in away from all the people and noise. As is, I figure I probably won't get anything done until next week.



Oh, and my dragons had babies...

sorry to hear this sweetie. I really, really know how family can take up your time and drive you batty at the same time. Do what you can to keep what's left of your sanity and don't worry about anything.

The worst bit i find about wnating to do "stuff" whether its writing, sewing, drawing or whatever, is jsut as you get teh big to actualyl do something.. somthign comes along to get in teh way:D

at present i am trying to actually writedown three story ideas, plus i have two sewing projecs I want to do and some pictures (mostly scenes from said stories because they are strong images in my head) and everyone wants me to do other stuff... :/. I have a garden and I am wondering if i should invest in a shed and lock myself in it for a few days. either that or we move to a bigger house with a puttering room for me:D

i think i am going to buy an MP3 dictaphone, they are relatively expensive but i can get ideas down while i have them faster:)

Oh, I hate that :P I'll usually be right in the heart of a project, on a roll, when someone calls me away to do something or needs to borrow my laptop. It's part of why I'm not writing, as I get really, really irritable when disturbed.

I'm also rather hypersensitive and even so much as someone fidgeting a little too much out of the corner of my eye will start shoving me over the edge.

We have a spare room currently being used as a guest room that I'm thinking about doubling as an office once we get the main computer back.
