Feeling TV Nostalgic

So we went out to eat at Red Beans Bayou Grill which has a very Cajun theme (and darn good food), and it made me think of this show that was on long, long ago back during the 90s on USA called The Big Easy. Anyone remember it? Ever even heard of it? It was a rather cliche private detective show set in New Orleans. The main character was a PI, cajun, hot, always getting into trouble and got beat up quite a bit. There was a lady who worked for the government or some environmental agency who was a possible love interest for the main character, or would be just as soon as she stopped being annoyed with him. I didn't really like her (surprise, surprise:P).

Sadly, it wasn't on for very long *pouts* and it didn't help that they kept changing the time of when it was on, making it difficult to watch. I think about that show every now and then, I don't know why, and lament not being able to watch more of it. I should see if they have it on DVD. I actually tried seeking out any fanfic for it but, alas, none (and I'm pretty sure if there is fic out there then it's either all het or all slash :P I'm betting on het :P)

Never seen the show but I had heard of it and it's pretty clear it was a spin-off from the movie of the same name starring Dennis Quaid and Ellen Barkin. And that was a damn good movie. :)

Could have been, I don't recall (I was only a teenager, blinded by the pretty and the Cajun accent ;)) It was a cheesy show, but fun, and I like cheesy and fun :D

There were two seasons! That's awesome :D I was only able to watch a sporadic few episodes because I never knew when the dang show was on :/
