Attention Criminal Minds fans!

Most especially those who read CM fanfiction. I once again find myself in need of some good (preferably well-written) Reid H/C. It's an on again/off again craving of mine, in that though I love the show I'm not part of the fandom and don't often seek out fic unless I'm in the mood.

Well, I'm in the mood, and I would greatly appreciate the help in finding some gen Reid whump. I'm not being lazy, I swear, but I'm exceedingly hesitant about seeking out fic on my own since it never ends well (I squick so easily). So if you know of any good gen Reid H/C and could point them out to me? I'd be much obliged :D

Now for the picky part of the request:

Gen only and Reid H/C only. Please no het, slash, WIPs that aren't being updated, and stories where Reid doesn't get the brunt of the whump. I'm not a fan of gut wounds (well, lower abdominal wounds and stories that over use the word "belly") and really dislike appendix fic.

I just checked IMDB to find out who is who. I have seen so few episodes and have not kept tabs on names.........but do
like Hotchner, Morgan and Reid very much.

Oh, thanks! :D No, he's the skinny, kind of nerdy guy who knows a lot. He's my favorite because he's so socially awkward and doesn't flaunt his genius the way another "certain" genius we know does ;).

When I did the research I was looking for the name so you will probably find some stories at those two links.........but thanks for letting me know who Spencer is. I really like him, but I also like Hotchner and Morgan also.......
I believe Spencer is sort of mentored by Morgan if I recall correctly from one episode I watched......

I think Morgan is kind of like Reid's emotional/social support, which I love to pieces as they are such opposites. The show has such a great team dynamic, which I'm always a sucker for.

I think it's so cute that they're such friends :D But that's what I love about the show is that they are all so supportive of each other.

It's also why I would rather ask for fic than go exploring on my own :P I'm so weary of running into "ick fic" and this is one show where I don't think I would be able to handle it if I did. I'm not just talking slash fic but any story that puts the characters - most especially innocent Reid who really is like a little kid despite his brilliance (in fact I don't even think Reid cusses on the show, at least not a lot) - in explicit, revealing situations (Ex. sex scenes, scenes that describe certain areas of the anatomy, etc).

Yep:D They weren't many, though, which makes me wonder if Reid fic are in short supply in FF.net or if the communities aren't being updated *shrugs*. I was able to find a story that I wasn't able to finish, so, yes, it was very helpful :D

I'm saving FF.net for very last for obvious reasons. It's usually not so bad if you start at the back of the archive and work your way forward (the best fic seem to happen when a fanomd is still young), but when you get closer to the more recent stories is when things get hairy :P

Yikes! This is tricky, CM does not seem to have a very large gen community (yet).
