New anime love, thy name is Bleach. And I discovered it all on my own without relying on the anime queen, my sister :D I started watching it out of curiosity, and as usual, after a time, ended up hooked. I love the concept and the team dynamic, and love that it offers so many characters to adore. My top favorites are Ichigo, Renji, Kenny and Rukia with Chad and Uryo coming in close. I love the goofiness/awesomeness of Ichigo and Renji, and Kenny's insanity that ends up saving the day. I'm giving some serious thought into giving the manga a try, as I recall having considered it a while back even before I got into the anime.
On to white Collar! I'm also giving serious thought into writing a White Collar fic. I'm not interested in getting into the fandom itself - no more fandom involvement beyond what I'm already involved in - but I really, really want an exploration into what would happen if Neil is sent into an undercover operation and something goes horribly wrong. Though I would love for the show to be the one to explore this, I'm not going to hold my breath. I would love it if such a fic already existed but from what I heard it's all mostly a slash fest out there. Therefore, I'll just have to write it myself. No promises, though, depending on the muses and whether or not the idea refuses to leave me alone. We'll see, but if someone else would like to tackle the same idea, please feel free to. I only ask that it be made gen (i.e. no pairings beyond what canon gives us) so that I can read it as well, if that's okay.
