Website for Finding Literary Agents
Nov. 7th, 2012 08:10 pmI was doing my publishing research and found this website that's supposed to help with finding literary agents.
www.agentquery.com
I checked it out and I must say I rather liked what I saw thus far. It has a really awesome feature that lets you narrow down your search to the kind of agents you're looking for. It also helps you sort out those agents currently looking to take on new clients. But... a part of me is rather wary because it's so dang easy to use and it's free, where as most sites meant to help you find an agent have been the kind of places you have to subscribe to (as in pay money).
So I'm wondering if anyone has heard of it, whether they heard good or bad things about it, if they tried it out and what the results were.
ETA: Oh, and it actually tells you how to write a query letter, something that no amount of Googling and sifting through various literary related places could tell me. I am seriously loving this site.
