Stupid friggin' cliffhangers! I hates them, precious! But mom and I have a theory - it was a set up. Neal and Peter got to Moz in time and set it up. But if it's not.... *wibbles* Moz!

But, oh, how the angst rocked. Seriously, I just wanted to hug Neal to bits. And if Moz has been shot then that's going to rip him to shreds. I like that Fowler isn't such a baddy after all (that is, if he's not playing them). It was quite the twist, one that I didn't see coming, and I like it when a show can throw me like that, turn a situation gray rather than stick with the simplicity of black and white. The intensity was also impressive, because I had no idea if Neal would shoot Fowler and I was freaking out that he actually might. And... Moz!

I will confess that the whumper in me is more disappointed that it was Moz shot instead of Neal ;P I totally saw it coming, but still, a whumper can dream. And although I actually don't mind that the show is whump light, I do hope we get a bit more Neal whump next season (and please, please, please not Neal sleeping with every female OC that comes along. I hate it when a show thinks that amping up the sex makes everything better :P)

The whumper in me is also disappointed that Neal wasn't a tad cut up jumping through that window. Nothing major, just a nick here or there would have made me a happy camper. Oh, well. The angst makes up for it :D *Hugs poor Neal*

I kind of figured it out the moment the store owner was shot. Though I was hoping Neal would be the one with the owie, I had a feeling it was going to be Mozzie. I really hope it was just a set up and that Neal and Peter reached him in time. Not just hope, because it struck me as odd that Mozzie was so easy to find, him being so paranoid and all. No way would he sit out in the open unless there was a reason.

There has been a bunch of speculaton about why he was there and some suspicion about Alex. They really set her up to look guilt what with that odd vibe she had and her digging in her purse like that.

Some suggested that she's not totally innocent in this and is some how involved with Patchwork dude and maybe even asked Moz to be there. Moz had to be meeting someone he trusted, and she's on the short list considering he's met her out in the open before.

Also, he could have been meeting the guy from the antique store - but, yeah, why wouldn't he have met him at the store ...

Or maybe he was just waiting for the bus ... :)

Either way, yeah, I was hoping for a Neal owie too. But I guess he just gets all the emotional owies. I'm sure this one is going to hurt.

And my wish for the return: Mozzie Lives!

I can totally see it if Mozzie was waiting for someone, but sitting there just to be sitting there doesn't strike me as a Mozzie thing.

You bring up interesting points about Alex. Personally I think Kate was more in league with patchwork dude than Alex, but, well, at this point who knows. I see Alex as more the in-over-her-head type - in that if she is involved it's not necessarily to the point that she's betraying Neal (at least not knowingly). Just a feeling, though, so I could be wrong.

The angst for this episode was so awesome, Peter's anger at Neal for stealing the music box, Neal's shaking gun hand and Peter talking him down from shooting Fowler, not to mention the ending. I'm all curious now about the secret code and who's manipulating everyone, including Fowler apparently.

Me, too on the Neal whump. :) And seriously, he should have gotten *at least* bruised jumping through that window and crashing through like that.

The beauty of shows is that it leaves a lot up to the imagination ;) Maybe he didn't get cut up (which I an kind of excuse since Neal is a professional when it comes to breaking in and escaping, so he probably knows how to bust through a window with minimum damage) but I'm pretty sure he has some impressive bruises under his clothes ;)

I'm actually trying to think up a little something to touch on potential injuries, but I'm not quite sure what to do with the Mozzie bit. Go with the theory that it was a setup? Put him in the hospital or ignore it all together?

I'm hopeful. The show hasn't been violent heavy so I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. But if it isn't, and Mozzie was shot, then I hope at least that they get to him in time.
