Yep, curiosity got the better of me. Does anyone know of any good gen Haven fic that explores Nathan's condition in interesting ways? For example, he breaks a bone or bones and doesn't know about it, or he has to regulate his life according to his condition (eat regularly because he can't tell when he's hungry), etc?

And I emphasize gen, as in no pairings nor pre-pairings because if I read one more story that's labeled gen but is anything but gen I just may scream.

I've not really looked heavily into it as I don't read much fic these days but from what I've seen it looks like 90% of the fic out there is Nathan/Audrey and the other 10% is Nathan/Duke so I think you're probably out of luck but let me know if you find one, I'd definitely be interested.

I actually have to confess that this is the closest I've come to being tempted to write in quite a while but I'm just not sure I'm up to it, I haven't written anything in a REALLY long time and struggle to find motivation and am still feeling major guilt over unfinished SGA stories.

This is why I'm afraid to go fic hunting. That plus bad fic. My current new fandom is becoming a major frustration because most of the good stories are either slash or no whump, while most of the gen whump stories are rather cringe worthy.

I'm getting rather tempted to write something, myself :D But I'm afraid that if I do then I'll get sucked into another fandom, which I really don't want to do.

I've looked, and failed, at finding any good gen fics exploring his condition. I've got a pretty good idea for an SGA/Haven crossover fic in mind (Shep and Nathan whump =D), but haven't really had a chance to get anything down on paper for it yet. Any interest in doing a joint writing project? hehe :)

I'm not usually a fan of crossovers but that does sound interesting :D I'm tempted to write something that explores how Nathan's condition affects his every day life. For example, I figure he probably has to see a doctor quite a bit to make sure nothing's going on in his body that he doesn't know about. And what would it be like for him to get a cold? And so on.

Actually, I quite enjoy joint writing projects, so I'm always game for them ;)

I say go for it. I'd enjoy reading something along those lines. :)

As for the crossover thing, I think I've still got your e-mail. If I get a chance this weekend do you want me to send you what I've got in mind? I've never attempted a crossover before. I think it could be fun. :)
