*Does the Happy Dance*

It is done! My Sheppard H/C holiday exchange story has been written.

Finishing any story is a happy occasion but this one in particular leaves me incredibly relieved. The more I wrote, the more I thought I would never get it done, at least not before November. I honestly think this was the hardest story I ever wrote. There were so many possibilities with this story that I wasn't sure where it was trying to go. At one point I thought I was going to have to write several alternate endings because I couldn't decide how this story should end.

But it is done. The words are down and now all I have to worry about are the edits :D

YAY! This is great news. With working and RL, it's hard to squeeze in time to write, but I was hoping if given earlier enough, people would find ways to get fic done with room to spare. See, now the pressure's gone! And if a beta does suggest changes, you don't feel like you have to do them in two days or something.

Thank ye :D I've never been more relieved to have a story done. I... pretty much have no life, so plenty of time to write. But don't let having plenty of time fool you. There's always something that tries to get in the way. For me, it's usually lack of motivation. This time it was a lot of plot issues. But that it's written won't stop leaving me a puddle of relieved goo :D
