Behold the consequences of my desire to draw something! I like SGA, I like dragons, felt like drawing dragons, and viola!

The expidition stumbles on a device that, when activated, produces some very unsual results... (Click on pictures for full view.)

Sheppard

McKay (he came out a little more cartoony than I intended, but I loved his expression too much to change anything.)

I'll be doing the others later on. Next will be Ronon since I have his form figured out.

She writes AND draws too? Ach, think I'll just curl up into a ball ;)

and I'll bet McKay will be jealous Shep's got more hair, too :)

Ah, don't do that. Beyond drawing and writing there's not much else I can do. Maybe scare dogs into submission, but that's it.

I think McKay will be forever jealous that Sheppard has mor hair.

Eh, too hot to curl into a ball. 90+!

But love the dragon drawings. Oh wait, Ronon dragon will have EVEN more hair. Poor Rodney.... ;)

Wow you captured John's wry grin as if he's in on the joke we're not ....I like the little touches, the wristband and side arm and Rodney with the ZPM and the horns of snark that shape his head just right.

Very well done.

Thanks. And it wasn't easy. I think it took about five separate drawings before I finally managed to get a pose and facial expression I liked. Rodney was easier.

I really like the one of John - he makes such an elegant dragon.

Lovely job of shading, and with the transitions between parts - that was what always tripped me up, back during my dragon-drawing stage (and I did an awful lot of it all through high school). Especially the legs into the body.

John-with-wings in the same style of John-as-dragon would be pretty spiffy - if you feel like it.

Thanks. I really like how John turned out.

Limbs used to always be my downfall when it came to drawing dragons. I got this "How to draw Dragons" book a while back that had really helped me figure out where I was going wrong.

Ohh.. I SO agree with Bratfarrar. Dragon!John is so elegant and the body so athletic. Perfect!
The wristband and the sidearm were a nice touch also.
Loved Rodney drawing too, but John's is my favourite.

Thanks. I really like how John turned out. I wanted him lean, not too thin and not too muscular. And you just know he'd keep his side-arm on even as a dragon.

"And you just know he'd keep his side-arm on even as a dragon"
