Changes has arrived! Dresden Files! Magic and mayhem!
On the other hand:
Major distraction from my various projects! Plus now I have to decide whether or not to set aside the book I'm currently reading. It's a good story - a steampunk AU of World War one with an excellent twist - but the story features two characters, a teenage boy and girl, and I'm kind of not liking the girl at the moment. Her constant use of the same slang words is getting on my nerves, plus she's a bit of the cliche "I can do anything better than you" type that I'm not a big fan of (I really dislike characters who get overly focused on trying to "prove" themselves to the rest of the world. More often than not they're incredibly prideful and snotty about it, and it gets old fast).
Speaking of projects, I really want to get back into editing my first original story but without setting aside my second original story. I'm not a good multitasker but I am good about getting into a schedule. I'm thinking Monday, Wednesday, Friday will be devoted to edits, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday to writing. And motivation will be rewards of writing fanfic and watching TV :D The TV thing worked well during NaNo.
And it's only two days left before I can finally start round one of the white Collar comment-a-thon over on![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
collarcorner I'm quite excited about it. I just hope we have enough writers to make it work as membership is still a bit slim.
